Invitation to Proposal of Bag Loading Plant (Ship Loader)

Proposal of Bag Loading Plant ( Ship Loader) with Conveying System are invited by the Myanmar Port Authority (M.P.A) for Loading of Agricultural products packed with 50kg bags from transit shed to the vessels, the particulars are mentioned as follows:-

(1) Existing Wharf’s facilities
- Name of wharf - No.(1) Sule Pagoda wharf (No. 1 SPW)
- Length of wharf - 450 feet (137.2m)
-Width of wharf apron - 40 ft ( 12.2 m)
(Between Transit shed and wharf end)
- Rail span - 15 ft (4.57 m)
- Strength - 2.2 ton/m2
- Transit Shed No.1 - Length - 360ft (109.75m)
- Breath - 150ft (45.73m)
- Storage capacity - 11250MT
- Year of Built - 1912

(2) Situation of Yangon River
- Current Speed - 4 to 6 Knots
- Tidal Range - about 5.5m
- Tidal Stream is Strongest on the second day after the new moon.
- High water and Low Water level occur twice a day.

- Breadth - 25m
- Depth - 12m
- Draft (Loaded) - 9m
- Dead Weight - 15000MT

(4) Proposal of Bag Loading Plant ( Ship Loader) with Conveying System.

- Bag - 50 kg Bag ( Size 890 mm x 585 mm )
- Loading Capacity - 2400 Bags/hr (120M.T/hr)
- Slew - 180˚ (min)
- Outreach - 25 m
- Boom Angle - Depends on your design.
- Loading attachment to cargo hold - Spiral chute (or) appropriate attachment
- No. of Cargo holds to be loaded simultaneously - 4 holds at the same time (Pl. Propose No. of machines)

(b) Conveying System
- Internal Conveying System for Bags inside the Transit Shed.
- External Conveying System between Transit sheds.
- External Conveying System between Transit shed and Bag
