OUR MAIN TASK
  • The college is established with the power and function to educate students to become certificated officers of international standard in accordance with the International Maritime Organization Regulations.

  • Therefore, the main task of our college is to train seafarers to become internationally recognized marine personnel, so that they can be employed onboard vessels owned by national and foreign shipping companies.
  • COURSE DESIGNING
  • The training courses conducted in the college are designed not only to provide training in the relevant maritime fields but also to give emphasis on discipline and formation of responsible mariners to meet with the latest IMO (STCW'95) standards.
  • Our college is one and only government owned training college conducting courses covering both Nautical and Engineering fields. It also offers academic subjects relevant to maritime occupation, from Basic Seaman to Master and First Class Marine Engineer of different trades.
  • To cope with the rapid changes in the maritime technology, the curriculum of courses have been updated and new courses are also introduced according to STCW'95 requirements.
